Rallarvegen was a construction road made when they built the railway line between Oslo and Bergen. Rallar was the nickname on the workers doing the hard work making the road as well as the railway.

The road from Finse to Flåm is a fantastic road, ideal for bicycling and hiking. Every summer and autumn thousands of people do this spectacular tour and they return year after year.
